Meet the people who #LeadWithLove at Stokes School
The educators at Stokes School bring a rainbow of diverse languages, cultures, and backgrounds, but are united in a common love for children and a mission to prepare culturally diverse elementary school students in the District of Columbia to be leaders, scholars and responsible citizens who are committed to social justice.
Our staff represent over 30 countries and many languages. Forty staff are parents of current or former students. Nearly 30 staff work with another member of their family (sometimes more than one; sometimes many generations!) Six staff were once Stokes Scholars themselves.
